Curtis Douglas was elected County Clerk in November of 1994.  He was sworn in on January 1, 1995 and was re-elected in 1998 and 2002.  The County Clerk’s Office is actually three separate and distinct offices.  There is the Court Section, the Recording Section and the Law Library.  The County Clerk is also responsible for the county’s switchboard.  Each section of the office is further broken down into numerous sub-sections, making this one of Johnson County’s largest offices.  Currently serving his third term, Curtis and his staff have worked diligently to provide the best services possible to the taxpayers of Johnson County.
